We collect the details you enter in a quote request: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, property address where provided, and information about your roof such as service needed, material, age, urgency and project notes. We also collect standard technical data including IP address, browser type, referring page and the pages you view on this site.
We use your information to match you with roofing contractors in your area, to allow those contractors to contact you about your project, to prevent fraudulent or duplicate submissions, and to improve this website and our matching process.
Quotenews.co is a lead-referral service, not a roofing contractor. When you submit a request, your information is shared with one or more screened contractors and marketing partners so they can contact you. The current list is published on our partners page. We also use service providers for hosting, analytics, email and phone verification who process data on our behalf.
By submitting a quote request you agree that Quotenews.co and its partners may contact you at the phone number and email address you provide, including by automatic telephone dialing system, prerecorded message, artificial voice, SMS and email, even if your number appears on a do-not-call registry. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts.
You can ask us to stop sharing your information, request a copy of the information we hold, or request deletion by emailing privacy@quotenews.co. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have additional rights, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
